The work behind the quotation
Two AUC values, and nothing underneath them
- The whole of the published record is the quotation below. It reports two receiver operating characteristic area-under-curve values, 0.90140 for the SAPS2 score and 0.97624 for the Prospero model, and calls the improvement enormous. No method, no sample size, no cohort, no period, no validation approach and no publication accompanies either number. There is no case study of this deployment on either Prospero site, and nothing on this page should be read as a clinical finding.
